■Y/N's POV■

I've been staring at the door since I don't know when. I'm resting my face on my hand. My head is filled with my conversation with Hinata san last night. 

"Hinata: I... like you L/N... do you want to go out with me?"

BAAANG!

Honda: Y/N CHAAN!? WHAT"S WRONG?

My head slipped and my head hit the counter.

Y/N: I uh... it's okay he he... I just... slipped...

Just then the door is open, the bell chimes, making me turn my head to see the person who walks in.

Dub Dub

Hinata san...

Hinata: good afternoon...

Hinata san walks in and his smile brightens the room. He speaks with Honda san who's about to walk out to swipe the front of our store before heading my way. When our eyes met, I can't help but avert y gaze away.

My heart won't calm down when I see him...

Y/N: w-welcome Hinata san...

I look up at him and he sends me his gentle smile.

Hinata: hi... L/N...

Just then I see his eyes widened and Hinata san walks closer to me. He reaches a hand, makes me shuts my eyes from the closeness. A hand gently traces my forehead and it makes me open my eyes to see Hinata san's worried face.

Hinata: your forehead is red... are you okay? did you hit something?

Your face... too close... 

I close my eyes again, couldn't bear looking at him this close after last night.

Y/N: n-nothing... I uh... I hit the counter earlier... but it doesn't hurt that much...

I hear him sighs and I look up to see he looked relieved.

Hinata: thank god, I don't want you to be injured...

Dub Dub

My heart can't calm down, the sight of Hinata san sends fuzzy feelings inside. He moves to the back room to get his apron and start helping out again.

Hinata san has practiced this morning...

Y/N: H-Hinata san... you should just rest.... um aren't you tired after your practice...

Hinata san walks with three crates in his hands and then stops in front of me.

Hinata: no, I'm not tired... besides...

He leans in closer, making our faces is only 30cm apart. He's smiling but not his usual bright smile. It's a playful smile similar to a smirk.

Hinata: I want to make you conscious of me... that's why... I'll do my best to make you look at me the way I want you to...

Y/N: Hi- Hinata san!

Hinata san laughs and places the crates on the counter.

Hinata: you are blushing... I guess... I did make your heart flutters a bit...

Of course, you did... and it's not a bit...

Someone with a good looking face standing so close to you and say such a thing, every girl would have their heart racing right away.

■3rd Person POV■

Just like any other day, the L/N Mochi runs like it usually did. Some customers came and Y/N serves them while Hinata helps to stocks the Mochi made by Honda.

During their work, Y/N couldn't help but steal glances at Hinata. How this man she just met less than two months ago manages to make her heart beating faster at the sight of him.

Hinata too always looks at Y/N. After hanging out with her and get to know more about her from being around her and from the stories told by Ieri and Honda, Hinata is being more attracted to her.

When it's time for the two to leave for the hospital, they tidy up the store a bit and then leave and walk out of the store. Just like any other day, the two walk side by side but today their walk is a little bit quieter.

Hinata notices that Y/N is flustered and a little bit nervous around him, and so does he. But he doesn't want to show his nervousness because he wants Y/N to be conscious of him. 

When they're on a crossroad and about to cross, Hinata sees a car that moves at a high speed. Y/N was about to step forward but was being pulled back by Hinata. Her body is secured in Hinata's well build body.

Y/N's heart is beating faster, feeling the closeness of their body as she was pressed to him with his arm around her.

Hinata: you okay L/N?

Y/N looks up at the worried Hinata and nods her head. Hinata looks relieved and then smiles, saying that he's glad she's fine.

The two continue their walk and with each step they take, Y/N couldn't help about the stuffy feeling inside her chest. 

At a certain spot only 20meters from the hospital building, Y/N stops walking. Hinata looks back at her and approaches her.

Hinata: L/N? what's wrong...

Hinata's heart skips a beat when he sees there's a small blush on Y/n's face as she looks at him.

Y/N: H-Hinata san... what... what makes you like me?

Y/N's fiddling with her fingers, embarrassed after asking such a question and nervous to hear the answer. Hinata watches the woman in front of him, the sight of her makes him want to be a strong figure that will be able to help her. 

At first, Hinata was enticed by her beautiful smile when she thanked him after he helped her with the robbery. But then, he got to know more of her and ended up getting more interested in her. She likes her in so many ways. 

Hinata: I...

Y/N looks at Hinata who gives her a gentle smile, making her heart skips a beat.

Hinata: Everything that I already know about you... made me fall in love even more with you...

Seeing how his eyes don't show any lies and how sincere he looks makes Y/N's chest feels warm. Y/N looks down avoiding eye contact with Hinata, making Hinata nervous, afraid that he might get no for his confession yesterday, but.

Y/N: me too...

Y/N looks up at Hinata, showing how red her face is by now because of the things she's about to tell him. 

Y/N: I... love Hinata san too...

■Hinata's POV■

L/N is staring at me with her beautiful (e/c) eyes, faces all red like a tomato. The moment I hear the word " I love Hinata san too", my mind was blank and it feels like I stopped breathing for a moment.

I'm... so happy...

Y/N: Hinata san?

I can't control my body as I grab her hand and pull her to me, pressing our bodies together by putting my arms around her smaller figure. I can feel her body tensed in my arms and she puts her hands on my chest, trying to make a little space between us.

Y/N: H-Hinata s-san...

I pull back and am greeted by her adorable flustered face.

Gosh, I really like her...

Hinata: I'm sorry... I was just so happy that I want to hug you so bad...

Did she just turn redder than she already has?

I bring a hand to cup her cheek, tilting her head so she looks at me in the eye, preventing her from averting her gaze away.

Hinata: well... because our feelings are mutual... do you wanna be my girlfriend?

My chest flutters when I see her nods her head.

Y/N: I... want to...

I'm sure I'm smiling like crazy right now. 

Hinata: Thank you for accepting me, Y/N.... can you... call me by my name?

I hold her hand, intertwining our fingers together. Y/N looks at our hands then I feel her squeeze my hand back.

Y/N: y-yes... Shoyo...

My name that came out of her pretty lips sounds so nice. I'm really happy, I need to thank Kageyama for giving me advice.

Hinata: well... let's go to your mom... 

We walk into the hospital, hand in hand. I can't help but want to hold onto her small hand.

Ieri: oh, finally you two are here...

I'm too happy that I walk closer to the bed, with Y/N along with me. I show Ieri san our intertwined hands.

Y/N: S-Shoyo san?

I smile at the confused looking Ieri san and bows my head, before giving her a smile.

Hinata: Ieri san... we're together now!

Ieri san's eyes widened and I could feel Y/N is embarrassed, but I'm just too happy. Ieri san smiles and claps her hands.

Ieri: Finally... ah, I'm so happy...

Seeing how her mother looks happy with us being together, makes me glad. I put my arm on Y/n's shoulder and brings her body close to mine.

Hinata: I promise I will be a good boyfriend for her...

Ieri san lifts her hands and places one of them on my cheek while the other one on Y/N's cheek.

Ieri: I know you will... well, please take care of my Y/N... Shoyo...

Ieri san smiles happily.

Seeing the flustered girl in my arm...

And her smiling mother in front of us...

I...

I'm glad I met her...

And fell in love with her...
